dh80 Posted May 8, 2010 Report Posted May 8, 2010 Hello all, I have a 2009 F-150 Lariat with the Microsoft Sync. I am tired of the stock system and looking to upgrade. I like the keep the box under the seat to retain leg room but not opting out of doing a seat lift. I got the underseat area measured yesterday and without doing a lift have about 1.21 cu. ft of area and the shop sells DD. They said I could run a 3000 series DD 8" and if I lifted the seat could do 2 1508 DD 8". What are some other subs I should look at besides DD? I want SQ but want to be able to turn it up also. Would a ported or sealed box be better? I seen a setup of 3 Treo subs under the seat but the guy who did the install never emailed me back about the install. As far as door speakers i want to keep the stock look and will run some components in the front doors, brand unknown. Do i need to run some speakers in the rear doors? Some say no and some say just some 6.5 drivers or 5x7 coaxials. The part that is going to kill me is that I want to keep the Sync so I need to run a LOC. Most I have seen run the Rockford Fosgate 3Sixty.1 or .2. Are these good or are there other choices that are better? Thanks for any help/advice you can give.

I'm sure I have other options also I'm just trying to find out what will be the best setup. Did our friend lift is seat or did the cvr 12's fit without lifting his seat. How were the 12's firing also if you dont mind me asking? 's
