Ben G.
id get at least a 260amp alt i have a DC POWER 260SP and im running a SS xxx4000d on one 18" BTL loaded @ .7ohm and i never drop under 13.5 unless im idle and wangin the hell out the volume but then it goes to 13 at lowest., get a awesome alt then you wont need a bunch of batts takin up space. Thats what i think too. I can see a batt or two in the back but if you don't need it why bother? Plus the more batts you got the higher class you will be thrown in. mporettim
so you got two batts on your BTL? No, I meant I have the same size system as in 2500Wrms. I have two 15" Fi BL in 8 cu. ft. @ 33hz. I have a 200A alt with a yellowtop up front and two 65ah batteries in the back. Full tilt at 40hz I don't drop below 14V. At tuning I drop to low-mid 13's. But i would recommend getting the biggest alt you can now to save money in the future. 200A was the biggest they got for my car.

97SSBlazer
Just slap a 300a alt in there and call it a day That would work. When it comes to custom alt's you might as well go big. Leaves head room for when you upgrade and wont over work the alternator. lower tuning is just hard. I was surprised how loud 145 sounds at 35hz, and how quiet 145 sounds at 50hz. -= 2005 Tahoe LT =-Head unit: Pioneer AVH-X5500BHSSource: iPad Mini in dash Subs: 2 T1 12's Sub Amp: T1500-1bdCPWire: Rockford Fosgate 1/0 awgSignal Cable: MonsterFronts:Stock Bose for now:)Rears: Stock Bose for now:)MIds/High amp: Stock Bose for now:) 2005 Tahoe Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/172529-2005-tahoe-my-17th-vehicle/ 2001 Monte Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/160030-2001-monte-carlo-my-16th-car-lol/page-2#entry25309381997 Tahoe Build Log: http://www.stevemead...oe-6-15-rf-15s/2001 Impala Build Log: http://www.stevemead...katzkin-inside/
