Ok so go

20 high, 40 wide, 31 deep, subs up port back

make the port 6" by 24" extending into the box 20" (19.25 actually since your assumed .75" wall will be part of the port)

this will net you just over 10 cubes, 36 hz tuning, 144 square inches of port.

yes, 36 hz is fine. your cabin will gain lower frequencies well. set your subsonic to about 25 to 27 hz and you're set

I'd tune a little lower around 30-33hz regardless of musical preference.
