Jman08
right now my setup is a Hifonics bxi1606, 15" kicker l7, power acoustik cap, and my battery is a 12 volt valucraft under the hood. when my headlights are on my bass is not as loud due to voltage drops. what battery should i get? I heard the optima yellow tops are nice. thanks Youtube.com/J Hutch22
bassINyoFACE
upgrade to an Optima Yellow top or just a smaller Kinetic 800 or 1000 and hook that up in a parallel in the back somewhere you'll be fine... dmanson
upgrade to an Optima Yellow top or just a smaller Kinetic 800 or 1000 and hook that up in a parallel in the back somewhere you'll be fine... when did they ever make a kinetik 1000? i'd be wrong to tell you which battery to go with first. but i'd say get a better alternator first (one that'll put out more juice). when you're done doing that then get a good battery such as an optima, kinetik or stinger in the front. adding a kinetik hc600 or hc800 after doing what has been suggested to do first will help out. your problem lies with your alternator. 2-DC 15XLM2 D.7s 1-DC 5K amp (1) XS Power D6500(UNDERHOOD) and (1) XS3000(REAR) 3 runs 1/0ga for power and 2 runs of 1/0ga for negative. Guest MegaloManiac
a new alternator would be the way to go brotha, not a battery (im not saying a battery wont help, but an alty will do a better job keeping up)
