with the a/c running

lights on, highbeams on

stereo up a lil

sitting parked in the drive @ ~ 1000 rpm

volatge in car reads 14.5v

at front bat under the hood it reads 14.6v

looking good i guess

but it only took me like 20 min to take it out,

this time i immediatley removed the grounding bar to prevent another mis hap

im taking it up to autozone right now.

they might not be ok at for testing h/o alts, but normal one right?

Your alternator is fine. The voltage fluctuation you are describing is totally normal, a function of load and temperature.
