Help me decide on my amp.

Going to a AQ HDC3 Copper 10''

i was going to go with the 2200, but its much cheaper for the 1200.

but will i be wanting more power if i go with the 1200?

and are they any better amps 1200+ for a good price as well?

sub is D2 btw, so 1 ohm stable.

I was using a 1200d on a 15" HDC3 for abit and it got the job done pretty well. Plus all I had was the big 3. Didnt have to worry about an extra battery or a bigger alt. which you will probably want on a 2200D. Great amp,never ran hot on me. for the money a great amp indeed. Other options there are plenty of.

MB Quart Discuss 1500.1 (my wife currently has) would have to say the 1200D is better,but the MB will save you a few bucks and is still a good amp. It is performing well for her.

Diablo Hellfire 1000.1 (that is the amp I switched to havnt had a chance to play with it yet)

Sundown,ect ect ect.

the 1200D will be plenty for one 10, but plan ahead if your going to run 2 down the road pick up the 2200!

i thought there would be more posts and votes, i'm thinking i'll just go with the 1200, its still a large upgrade over what i have. and will work great with the single hdc3.

voted for the 1200 just because they are great little amps for the price. plus you wont have to worry about electrical upgrades
