kogwanted
20~ bucks at autozone or walmart.. its called a digital multimeter. honestly, just switching subs wont stop you from clipping your subs, its amp dependent if you got your bass boost up, bass on your cd player turned up, you are clipping the FUCK out of your shit just because it was at half, it could have still been giving them 1200 watts... you turning it up could have been clipping it *edit if its not loud enough for you, you should just get a bigger amp, and some subs that can handle the power... and build a bad ass box well i have my subwoofer setting on my headunit at 10 and my bass at
kogwanted
i have a question would it be clipping from me having my amp remote at max?
Team_DC-Derrick
turn your gains back to 0 on your head unit.. put the settings on the amp back to where it was... and see if you still get that smell... if its not loud enough for you, upgrade.. otherwise you are going to blow your shit.. 99.9% of the time The DC Integra 3 18s to 6 15 build log Team_DC-Derrick's Youtube Team DC Audio where theres a will theres a wall....... steven
so what should i have that too Keep your bass set low and then set your gains accordingly. Its easier with an oscope there is even a tutorial on the site.
Team_DC-Derrick
if your bass nob was maxed when your amp was tuned, and thats saying they tuned it where it wasnt clipping, your bass nob shouldnt technically clip anything. but you jacking your gains and bassboost is whats clipping your shit, and your head unit bass/sub output can clip it 2.. thats why i said put it back to where it was when they set it The DC Integra 3 18s to 6 15 build log Team_DC-Derrick's Youtube Team DC Audio where theres a will theres a wall.......
