Dan208 Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 I always had mine sealed facing the rear wall. A buddy of mine had a Solobaric (orignal round, years ago ) downfiring and it was pretty crazy. If you can, try and play around with the placement and see what works best. jeyrapboy Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 My buddy has a s-10 subs forward and port forward and it will knock you head clean off your shoulders. But like stated if you can just play around with the placement.

kl0wn Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 When I had my ranger and 2 10s I did subs back tilted up a little with port to the side. It really all depends how big of a build you are putting in it. 06 Mini Cooper S Sundown, SoundQubed Cadence, XS Power 151s Sealed 155s Outlaw Windshield @ 37hz
STEvil Posted May 30, 2010 Report Posted May 30, 2010 I've seen subs forward port up do really good. I use subs up port up.. it does awesome on the low end (30hz and under) and at 143.8db (37hz) and up it doesnt bother me.. How about port down + subs down? Or subs forward port down... flared port spacer on the floor so the port exit acts like an aero-port MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..." Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed.
steven Posted May 30, 2010 Report Posted May 30, 2010 I think subs forward port up sounds really good.
