Help me be the LOUDEST at my school for senior year!

thats a cool Idea but would his $4500 budget support this? remember he needs batts, alt's and all his wiring

im running that amp off 6 blue tops group 34, stock electricals.

stetsom amp $1800

6 batts $840

8 pioneer 10" champinonship pro ~$1000

=3640

gives you quite a bit left for cables and wood.

for reference i did 145.1 @38hz with 8x 10" champion (not pro) series off of just 1000 watts no box loading. 1ohm on a rf t1000bd

Ditch the 2500 and go with the Crescendo 3K or an AudioQue 3500.Crescendo 3K only requires one power and ground connection while the AQ requires two.Depends on what subs you go with.But with both of those amps you have an adjustable subsonic filter, versus the preset 28 Hz on the 2500.And both of those amps are about $300 cheaper than the Rockford.That's a whole AQ HDC3 18 you could get with that extra money.You could probably fit 4 15s back there ported and still keep the back row seats.

Besides, it's always fun to kick some one's ass with some stuff the general public has never heard of.

As far as cone area goes:

Him = 900 sq in

You = (2) 18s is 508.68 (4 would be double that number) and four 15s would be 706.5

But cone area isn't everything necessarily.Getting loud and moving a lot of air are two different things as well, so keep that in mind.

cool, thanks for the math, and yeah i kinda feel schetchy running "creschendo" haha. but if its more BANG for my buck i guess ill consider it.and im still kinda a noob on the whole subsonic filter and Hz stuff. i dont really know about that

there is no reason to feel sketchy about the crescendo. have you ever heard of the sundown 3000? its the exact same amp, the only difference is the heat sink. it uses the same circuit board.

yeh the 2 fi btl and 2 crescendo or w/e 3k amps per sub sounds nice, just ive never heard of that amp, but yeh a nice ported box could beat that hair trick, im not countin on it, but hes got a nice set-up, but with 5g's you could slam a nice one in there, and upgrade from there, over senior year, im still debating for my senior year aswell, dont got beat, but i just sold dirtbike (3g) and making 5g this summer (full time carpenter), but my trucks 260/month isuramce to..
