merk_master
Would 8 Sony Xplod 10's walled behind B pillar on 2600 watts be good enough for 129.9 DB ? It would be in a Ford Focus Sedan. Yes I know Sonys suck but its how I roll.I would like to one day be able to do a hair trick with Sonys. the Box will have full sides on it for support and sealed from the rest of the car. Please dont post just to say how much Sonys suck . Quote hopeful noob
tristan560
129 could be achieved with 2 Quote 99 Jimmy SLT 4WD Systemless. 99 Grand Prix GTP DC XL 12 on 1.5k tuned lowwwwww.
Maxim
I would hope this setup could pull a 129.9. You could probably do more with less speakers and a good ported box. Quote wtf is lolcats? I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers. I was hoping for 150 . I was hoping she would let me put it in her butt

merk_master
My Current Setup is 2 Sony 10's in a T-line box (450rms) and I get asked all the time by local Enthusiast on what i am running. They say it doesn't sound bad at all for being sonys. I am tired of not being able to hit low lows. Its beyond my tuned freq. Edit: If anyone had box ideas post a pic of the style mentioned for us uninformed folks, Thanks Edited June 1, 2010 by merk_master Quote hopeful noob

Edit: If anyone had box ideas post a pic of the style mentioned for us uninformed folks, Thanks Not hitting the lows is due to the tuning of the T-line. Making a giant sealed Sony box-of-death won't fix that. Quote wtf is lolcats? I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. merk_master
Well in the sealed (prefabbed pos) box I had when I first started I could hit lows but not powerfully . With my T-Line it unloads my woofers on anything below 35ish HZ Quote hopeful noob

merk_master
Well the box is built to the resonating frequency of the sub. So I am thinking more subs possibly ported. I will redesign the box to figure out a ported setup also Quote hopeful noob
