Quick question about clipping

I know you shouldn't play clipped music when bumpin a system hard, but what about when the subs are low. Clipped music at low volumes shouldn't hurt subs, right?

I guess I should clarify, I play music that isn't clipped whenever possible, but sometimes its just impossible to find an unclipped version of a song.

Also, I'm not talking about music with MAJOR clipping either, just some clipping, not the whole song.

Are the lows clipped or are the highs clipped (or mids?)

If the lows are clipped its not a good idea

Hmm. Not sure, I was talking about music in general, wasn't really aware different parts could be clipped.

I think I'll just stick to keeping the subs OFF when playing music that I know is clipped.

Yes I did know that. But still. I'll just keep my subs off when playing music that I know is clipped.
