Its not powerful enough to hurt someone, just make them jump their hand back, kinda feels like when you put a 9v battery to your tongue. but if u think they could press charges than ill go ahead and take it off. I was not to happy. I have a decent alarm too, I choose to be nice to my neighbors that night and leave it off because of the heavy rain. what a dumb ass I was.
