LayneRuley
So here it goes. I stumbled across a Pyle Fully loaded system, i won it in a contest. Its not the bad. Well my enclosure came in and im ready to install it. well i had the subs mounted backwards or firing inside the enclosure (thats how i want it to be) and there nicly seated on the carpet what not, and the system sounds amazing at noticable levels. or normal levels. well when i crank it up, and i mean CRANK IT UP, i get this wired odd noise and sinse im new to the 12' ers i have no idea what it is. it doesnt sound like mechnanacal noise to me. its this wierd sound, it makes a "pert" sound. and only when the cone goes up and down for a lot, like when i play party like a rock star, it does it alot for that song. and its very anoying. it goes, bump-----bump PEERT PEEERT-----------pert-bump-pert-bump-pert-bump----bUUUUUUMMMMMMP (if you know how the song goes) So i did some research and my amps rms is (bridged) 240 watts, MY subs are Blue waves (Newest generation) 1200 watt subs that are max rated at 1200 but no were i can find a rms rating so i did some looking and rms ratings are basicly half of the maximum give or take some. So when i pump it up alot and get this wierd noise am i clipping cause the amp is having a hard time? its a chopper 1400 watt 2 channel amp and im looking at buying this amp here http://cgi.ebay.com/SPL-Amp-1800-Watt-Amplifier-2-Channel-Ch-Gorilla-Series-/320392498426?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Car_Amplifiers&hash=item4a98e18cfa#ht_615wt_1137 how would i wire it so were i have the two stero imputs and have the speakers wired bridged? the subs are DVC and each coail is 4 ohms. also, these things dont sound very loud but i am in a house, not a car...so when i do put them in my little ol geo, will it get a lot louder? LayneRuley
my subs DONT sound like this but (IN THIS VIDEO IGNORE THE PARTS WERE THE SUB JUMPS) when this sub is playing normally, the higher pitched sound "pert" (NOT THE JUMPS IN THE VIDEO) thats what mine sound like but ar REALLY high flexes...
