J-Lane
Basically I have heard a number of times that silicone sealant can damage the foam surround on speakers and I was just curious what everyone in this forum thinks about this. I just bought an Fi Q15 and built a 4 cu. ft. slot ported enclosure using Liquid Nails and I'm wondering how long I should wait before installing the sub. Could it really casue a problem? I have built a lot of enclosures but haven't noticed a problem before.
skittlesRgood
oh, dude, if you not putting the stuff on the sub then dont worry about it. the fumes wont eat away the foam. If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood.
