Legal Downloads

[cmrs2k]

Ok, First off, if I am duplicating a topic I'm sorry. I looked, searched, and did not find it.

My question is this. Can anyone point me in the direction of a good legal download software/websites? I am perfectly ok with paying for music. I just want a site that actually has a selection. Napster sucks. They don't have a lot of the old school stuff, but they take forever to get new stuff too. Any tips will be appreciated. Thanks.

itunes is okay, i dont like that fact that you have to download the songs in m4a format though, unless they changed that...

Who downloads legally now days anyways (besides the great stevemeade)?

[Guest MegaloManiac]

I do. Downloading music without paying is illegal. I for one like to support the band I listen to.

I rather support the Artists by buying a CD rather then paying for a download.

Collecting CD albums is more satisfying

if you are in college, Ruckus.com. However you have to have a school email. You can download a lot of songs. They dont have all of them but they do have ALOT.
