CLiP8907 Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 sup all... new to the forum room! gotta "?" and ima try and make a long story short... so, gotta 96 accord, after marktet 90amp alt "2.5 months old" red top Optima, kicker zx1500, 3 jl 10s wired to 4ohms... i got 0gauge hotwire going into a distributer block and running 4 guage from it. and i gotta second battery "kinetic" in the back, and i'm running it parallel.. im still learning the "D.I.Y. way" so go a little easy if i screwed up my setup. lol. i just found out my alt has excessive ripples (after only having it for 2.5 months) and i have to replace it. the ppl at advance auto said it was the way i had my system ran... hope this is enough info to get an answer :Satan Sings a Lulliby In My Ears Every Nite:- Lord Infamous Pioneer Premier DEH-P500UB w/ ipod touch Planet Audio BB215 Kicker zx1500.1 2 Jensen Audio 6.5s 2 Horns "in place for my 6x9. my port blows all my 6x9s out of place" 2 pyramid tweeters

Probably just had a cheap alternator, go hit up DC power or Iraggi alternator, both are on this forum, find one in your price range and go from there. I know for sure that both make accord models.
