Toady
Did a series of tests today. Charged the batt full charge, it still squealed voltage was good. Re spun pulleys m including alt didnt hear any noise. Used a straight edge to see whether the alt was lined up with the 2 closest pulleys, it was 100 percent inline. Im sorry for bothering everyone but im absolutely tired of this i think i would rather like my transmission to go out because then at-least i will know what the problem was. Everyone has given me help and it is much appreciated, I've tried a bunch of thins yall have told me except for 2 small of a belt. Im gonna order a new belt, just need to know whether i should get stock size or 1 size smaller. Alot of people say it may be too tight. Some say too tight of a belt wont make it squeal. Any Ideas????? edit: im not gonna use belt dressing, And WD-40 Makes it squeal so much louder
!!!BLINKY!!!
Had the same problem with my Boniville.. It was the alt, When i spun it it had no noise but after a closer look it didnt spin as free with a belt on it.. The pull downward from the belt caused it to drag... white4d96
Some people ask if its a chirp or squeal. it sounds exactly like this. You got the 3.1? If so mine has done that since I bought it. Honestly I think it's the design of the tensioner, not much we can do about it. I've learned to ignore it. EDIT: because I can't type right at ten to 2AM =/ Too many projects, too little time...
