wL<3bass
My blazer did this horribly for months in the cold... I replaced every pulley and device on my truck except for the crank pulley... swapped two AC compressors, two power sterring pumps, two water pumps, 3 alternators, 4 idlers, 3 tensioners... Changing all of those made absolutely no difference I just started it one day and it hasn't done it since. Toady
Dang bro thats alot of money. It ha;ppens when temperatures are 76 degrees, then its faintly heard when the temperatures hit 105, 109 (Texas Temperatures lol) Im just tired of it, IDK If my belt is too tight, i went with a 1 size smaller than stock belt because of the overdrive pulley on my alt. Should i get the factory size belt instead??

Iraggi Alternator
just by reading first post.... either belt is too small... or batts are getting drained while car is off... or batt is bad... or batt needs to be charged.

Loudcav
The Battery would make the belt squeal?? when the battery is low it forces the alt to work harder to charge the battery
Toady
That makes sense, Tomorrow i will charge my battery completley, and i will see if it still does it, I dont know whether or not to get a new belt or not and if i do, i dont know what size to get. Stock size, or 1 size smaller because of overdrive pulley
