OrionStang Posted June 11, 2010 Report Posted June 11, 2010 Im about to try my hand at resining a box. What are all the supplies I will need to get? Will a coat or two of resin inside my box make a huge difference? Quote SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
skittlesRgood Posted June 11, 2010 Report Posted June 11, 2010 1 coat is all you need. just a quart of resin (itll come with hardener), a mixing cup, some paint stirring sticks (free at home depot), and either a couple paint brushes or cheap rollers. you wont be able to use them again so cheap is the key. that should be all you need. if you do try a second coat, do it before the 1st drys. if you dont, you will need to sand the 1st coat or the second could start to flake off over time. auto parts stores sell resin that takes a couple hours to dry and home depot resin takes 5-10min. get the long dry one.
