honestly jus wanna put some music in my car and wanted it to play loud and clean. still have to buy everyting meaning deck, wires, amps and d sub. want everyting to be new as it is my first system.

Between those two, it will be all preference (hint: its all in the install).

Me personally, I prefer the way the P3s look, so that's what I would go with. :shrug:

It depends what your shooting for... Based off of some things I read, The Type R is more durable and has the potential the get louder than the P3 but not sound as clean. So if you want SQ then the P3 Would probably be best bet. Again though its all personal preference.
