my cuzin told me about this brand, i had heard about it before but dont know a lot about it, he says they are not the best but that is a pretty good brand... my question was is a Planet Audio AC5000.1D a good amp? could it be a good amp for a DC lvl 5 or a BTL? i know its about 3,000w rms but it should be enough right? im not going to buy it, im just asking because maybe someone else whose on a budget could buy this amp is not that expensive...

I dont have any personal experience, but I think their older big amps were decent. The new ones look kind of cheap.

the older amps were much better than the newer ones, but still awesome amps. you could definitelt do a lot worse

Just dont try to tell me its a dual or a lightning audio amp. I swear they must add bass blockers to those damn things, or something. I'd personally run a Boss amp before the two above.

Planet Audio used to be a big part of the comp scene back in the 90's wasn't it?
