byers319
Since no one is answering this I will.... If it were me I would put a fuse at the front batt, one right before the second batt (its over kill but why not be safe??) And then one after your second batt going to the amp Then for grounding you can ground it to the frame, or what I would do is run a second wire from your batt in the front. You would do this to make sure that you have the best ground possible. also if you do end up having a second run of wire to the back I would still put another ground to the frame Hope this helps and I answered everything! hah about time someone gets back on topic (: thanks! nicor6
Fuse from the front batt to the rear batt should be @ least a 120 amp right???
finkster
It should be whatever the wiring can handle. Which is 250-300 for 1/0. Quote DAT 4125------>RE XXX comps active Eclipse cd7000 I serve drunks for a living
J00bles
It should be whatever the wiring can handle. Which is 250-300 for 1/0. thats a good rule of thumb, to prevent the wiring from melting/burning up. i prefer to use smaller fuses, usually about 50 amps more than my alts can produce (250 amp fuse on my 170amp iraggi, 200amp fuse on my 130 amp alt) Quote 8 DC Level 4 M2 15s2 DC Audio 5ks26^2 clamshell tuned to 30hz9 Kinetik 1400sMechman externally reg'd 340 S seriesin a 99 Jeep Cherokee Click to see J00bles' Youtube Channel
