Rogers
alright... so im finishing up the design for my saturn... the enclosure will be for 2 Sundown SA-12's... im trying to make it as efficient as possible since they are way underrated and im running them off of a Sundown Sae1200dv1.... well once i got everything just right i noticed that my port area was just a hair larger than the recommended port area range as specified by torres calculator... here is the screen shot of the calc... do you think it will be ok or am i going to run into problems? if so what problems will i run into if the port area is too large????? http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/79921-rogers-700-dream-car-update-page-17-a-wall/?p=2335774 93 Saturn SC2My system4 SA-15's Walled 2 Cerwin-Vega S2000's 3 Kinetik Hc2000's Dual 200amp alts. you guys done with the peepee touching contest or do I need to end it? fecupe2001
That´s about 16.8 SQ of port per cubic feet, i don´t think it´s that bad but maybe you don´t have the power for that giant port, but who knows? i haven´t work with those subs so maybe that´s just fine, i know that for my MTX 7500´s would be way too big, but for my DD 1510´s it´s great! hehe I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains. Rogers
humm... they should be seeing 600+ rms each for now... but i plan on upgrading them to the 2ohm aluminum coils and a 1200d per woofer some day in the future http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/79921-rogers-700-dream-car-update-page-17-a-wall/?p=2335774 93 Saturn SC2My system4 SA-15's Walled 2 Cerwin-Vega S2000's 3 Kinetik Hc2000's Dual 200amp alts. you guys done with the peepee touching contest or do I need to end it?
