TEAM SKAR AUDIO (12) - vvx12"s astro van

Recommended Posts

Yeah, now if I could just rebuild the motor, steering, A/C and trans- all would be golden. :D

Much props and well wishes Moon- we have to keep the Astros on the road!!! Or at least mean to get them back on it... lol. They are going to the crusher fast! Mine is an 89' Pretty scary that in a mere 4 years, it will be an antique. What year is yours? Did you say? And hows-a-bout some random vehicle pics? We weird-o Astro lovers are strange, man.... :ehh:

Good luck on the build. I don't know if I'll be surprised if you do get 150s or do not get 150s. But wouldn't it cheaper to use plywood or even MDF instead of partial boards with resin? And its not much of a budget build when you got 5 batteries. Each to their own, I guess. My builds are always budget builds but you gotta weigh the cost/performance of the materials.

Like someone said, resin will make the partial boards very brittle. I don't think just bracing on the inside is going to help enough if you end up doing 150s. Just prove everyone wrong then. :D

Is your box gonna be standing up like it is in the pics or laying down? I would also suggest you double baffle the front, you dont want you baffle breaking. Looks good so far.
