Battery---Fuse-----------------Amp or Battery---Fuse----------------Fuse----Amp I know the second way has more resistance, but is it necessary?

tacomabanga1986 Posted June 22, 2010 Report Posted June 22, 2010 ive always seen it battery - fuse - rear battery if u got one and then fuse @ amp my buddy had to do it that way for the memphis mk4d, i think he ran 2 250amp fuses for it and it has no internal fuseing either i still wonder how efficent an amp fused outside of amp power connections is on the amp i always thought that this kept it from shorting out, but internal blows with thermal, to low of ohm load, and not enough power here's a link to my system 99 toyota tacoma , 2 mtx 8000 1504's in a sealed downfire , 1000w memphis amp here's a link to my other system my 90 geo prizm test car heres a thread i got of new songs u can dl that are legal = Some Good Bangage/you Can Dl These Free And Legit
