First I'll say Hi my name is Brodie. Been reading the forum for sometime and found lots of great info on here that I've used. I have a few questions myself but thought I would at least share my Hummer with you all before I started asking questions. Keep in mind it's not finished but it may be done by the end of summer if I can get in gear and get stuff done... Then again are they ever really finished? I'm not much for typing so I'll just start posting up photos.

Here she is untouched. First offroad trip 100% stock.

I got a few other things done but no photos yet:

This is where I'm at now-

I cut in 7.7" JL marine speakers into the front doors and I got VIBE 8" space 2 ready to get cut into the rear doors. I'm still finding places to put things. I've got the amps hid I think but running that zero gauge all over is a pain. Same with the 12 ga speaker wire and RCA's. The entire floor is dynomatted and so are the walls. Doors are next. I have a few questions about this audio stuff but I'll ask it in the other threads.

Thanks for checking it out.

I like the soundstream. It was a little buggy at first but they updated their firmware dubbed (ARM 9) and it's way faster than before. It's 4volt preout, makes everything crisp and clear. I should say I'm self taught in car audio so any information I got is all what I've read. I can tell you I like my friends AVIC much better but it's like 3 times the price.

Dam firefox crashed when I was posting pictures.

Here's some more interior pics.

Ground block

Fishing my power wire. This was a big pain and I got a few questions about this too.

Fuse blocks, temporary placement just to see how they worked.

Small bit I had to trim for the JL's to fit the door

Interior out for dynomatt

12ga into the door. My front doors don't have a loom going from the jam to the door. It's a harness with a plug instead so I had to drill a hole. The rears are more typical with the loom going from the jam to the door making it easy to run the wire.

My custom suspension, shackles and fox shocks lets me flex like crazy for stock leafs.

Daylight above the wheel, for you low rider guys that's equivalent to layn' frame

Custom rock sliders. Also good at killing rodents and keeping peoples doors off my paint.

Rite now I'm trying to figure out the woofer situation. I need something thats small but has nice clean deep bass. I would like to try to stick to 1 speaker but it seems that theres so many opinions on getting the best 8" or a midgrade 12" or 2 10's... seems like a endless debate. I need my cargo area for my offroad gear. My H3 spends it's weekends climbing hills and picking on Jeeps on the trails. I either need a nice 8" that I can build a box to fit in my rear cargo door or just have a nice box that I can remove for the weekend trips. I can just put a speaker connector in a interior body panel and hid the amps behind the panels. That way I can just plug in 2 wires when I put it back in the H3. My choice would be top get a nice 8" but from everything I read unless I want to blow 500$ on a DD 8" and then another 500$ on a amp I'm sol trying to get a 8" in the rear cargo door...

You have some INSANE flex!

About the subwoofer situation, you could put a 12 sealed up in the center console or you could do this: http://www.google.com/m/search?site=images&source=mog&gl=us&q=Stealth%20subwoofer#i=94

I like them ideas, but they may be past my skill level... I've never worked with fiberglass, maybe I should try it on some old door panels I got and see how it goes...
