question about db drag rules

Recommended Posts

As the the topic states, i have a question about DB drag rules. In the street stock division, it states that no "competition grade components" can be used. The question is, what classifies a component as "competition grade"? Hope this isnt a dumb question, but i was just curious.

They kind of cover that with other guidelines.

Competition grade woofers would have cast or machined baskets but in street stock, you may only use stamped baskets.

Also a 10,000w amp is pretty much competition grade, but you are limited to 2,000w.
