benz280se Posted June 26, 2010 Author Report Posted June 26, 2010 naw i aint trying to mod it or nothin it says it can do around 3k+ @2 ohm thats as low as i go for ohms cause thats whats recommended. i dont wanna take the chance of burning it by doing something it isnt designed to do.

Had it happen twice Unless its modded to take it. how do you mod it? i run mine at 1 ohm and its a daily driver, 2 orion hcca 15.4s. it goes into protect when you put serious power to it.170 HO alt, big three(1 optima redtop, 1 optima yellowtop, 2 kinetik hc3800) still have voltage drop but much better than before with the 2 optimas. 14.3 to 13.5 @ 2k rpm
herbykw Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 I had a MA Audio HK802sx. "4400wrms". It was a HUGE current hog. The sound quality was not very good. Switched to a AQ with the same subs, box and electrical and the sound was much much cleaner.
