I have stock electric and im wanting to get rid of the big box so ill have space for when i go to college. Ive looked around and i can get a kicker L5 10" for 137 and i was wondering what type of amp i should get. I have a hifonics zxi 1010(also one channel of the amp doesnt work really well idk why all my fuses are good and my local audio guy said my rca input is messed up and needs to be soldered which i dont want to do so bridging the amp is out of the question), which isnt really made for what i want. i could wire the sub for 2 ohms i guess but should i just get a monoblock amp and get a 2ohm kicker l5. and what brand/model should i get and the way to wire it like parallel etc. Any help is appreicated thanks. I would get a type r or something like that. then get your amp fixed or buy a mono that does around 1k previously known as wenn_du_weinst aka fucking internet coward supreme. Also consider the DC level 3. I think it will suit your needs well. You'd also probably want to get another amp for it, but 500 to 600 watts isn't hard to come by. It also likes a smaller box than the CVX does. Anti Peel and Seal...lol You may be offended by the above.
