Yelladawg351
Like the title states I'm in a conundrum of to build the proper spec ported box for two 15 Mofo's or keep it in the sealed box I have them in right now. They are powered by an Audiopipe 3000d amp. My question is if they sound xcellent sealed should I change the setup by porting them to really make them sing. Is ported always better? The consensus on all and most car audio forums I researched is ported is the way to go to get the real benefit of your subs. I listen mostly to bass boom rap, but on occasions I listen to classic rock(strange for a black man like me). My opinion is ported applications shortens the life of some subs due to bottoming out that can not be heard at loud volumes. For the reason I chose sealed. Correct me if I'm wrong. By the way I can not believe how good the Mofo's sound for the price.
