How many watts can a sundown 100.4 put out

The website says it can do 160x4. i have heard people say it can do 250-300 watts per speaker if you have 4 speakers.

can it really do this on a 12 volt system and what speakers can handle 250 watts of vocals that arent too expensive

going by sundowns site would be best

Rated power output ----RMS power, 4 ohm stereo

100W x 4CH ----RMS power, 2 ohm stereo

160W x 4CH ----RMS power, 4 ohm bridged

320W x 2CH

and in order to get that 2 ohm load you would need to put 2 speakers per channel at 4 ohms each wired in parallel to bring it to 2 ohms

so 8 speakers total, or you can do 4 speakers at 100wrms each

Realligned it so it made more sense....
