new2boom Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 whats the least amount of fusing i can get by with in meca for burping my 1100.1 i just want to see if i will have to run the unlimited fusing class any 1100.1 owners with exp. with this amp please chime in thanks!! sealed up on the termlab mic on dash 4-sa12"s 2-3500d's 153.4db now testing a american bass 1100.1 no numbers yet 300amp iraggi alt and kinetik batts.

Ric Thornton Posted July 5, 2010 Report Posted July 5, 2010 you can run whatever fusing you desire. example... if you have two 15" and a 150amp fuse you would be either in as3, s3, m3, or x1 depending on the rest of your system setup. a 40 amp fuse with one 12" would put you in as1, s1, m1, or x1 again depending on the rest of the system setup. visit www.mecacaraudio.com for more rules and info. the amplifier does not designate your class. it goes on your FUSE rating and your cone area.

new2boom Posted July 5, 2010 Author Report Posted July 5, 2010 actually i heard they draw 1000 amps at full tilt i have 2-3800 kinetics and 1-1400 under the hood and my alt puts out 326amps and when i burp my voltage drops so it dont seem to efficient . in comparison to the 2-sundown 3500d's i had that would not move my voltage gauge.i will be at 18 volt soon with so more battery to back it up though. sealed up on the termlab mic on dash 4-sa12"s 2-3500d's 153.4db now testing a american bass 1100.1 no numbers yet 300amp iraggi alt and kinetik batts.
