Alex K
bass boost all the way down, gains by ear (any distortion, back off), low pass at about 85-100, and im not too sure about high pass. I generally leave mine at about 5-6k. But that's just my personal taste. Quote 2006 Nissan Z Track. kingleo
Set your high pass to about100 and you won't have to worry about then getting damaged by low notes. It's also a good idea to get a stand alone crossover like a kicker or audiocontrol, because their cutoff slope is higher then your radio or amp. BJD3
Doesn't the 9887 have a decent EQ? Why not set both amps to "full open" and let the HU do the crossing over? The gains would still have to be set correctly (obviously). Quote Anti Peel and Seal...lol You may be offended by the above. Guest
full open meaning dont use the EQ on the amp. if it has a switch for like HP and Full and LP, set it to full.
