What type of sound system fits in a 2002 ford mustang?

Look at ih8punkrok. DD3512 in the trunk. The reason I almost bought a 3512.

I know he had a different setup before, but I don't remember what it was (EDIT:CVR 15s).

Also, there isn't really a "best". "Best" is relative.

hey cool someone actually knows whats in my car haha

a couple things you may want to know.

-tiny ass trunk. if you take out the back seats you can fit a box 13" tall by about 34-35" wide.

-130 amp alt which will keep up fairly well up until about 1500 watts.

the one real crappy thing about the mustangs is that the stock speakers are 5x7 which limits what size speakers you can get.

Your build came at about the same time I started visiting here regularly. The idea of putting >700 watts to a single 12 inch sub was mind blowing.

They don't have plate adapters so you can use 5 1/4 speakers?

probably. i made some for my 5.25's really easy to do.

6.5's are too big to fit though, which is unfortunate

probably. i made some for my 5.25's really easy to do.

6.5's are too big to fit though, which is unfortunate

I haz Hertz 6.5 in mah doors.....you can either make....or get the adapters off ebay

My doors had stock 4 by 6's in em, and I got a Rainbow 6.5 in each door.....though that was after some cutting(this was on a Grand Am though......

You can do anything with a some Tin snips and a Sawzaw.
