Major Voltage issues. FML

Recommended Posts

Alright guys. I just redid all my power wires and checked voltage like how n8 said. One thing I notice is when I ground using the battery negative and use the positive anywhere else, I get 14.1-14.3 volts. When I ground elsewhere, I get readings between 13.4-13.6. WTF is up with that??

Started redoing my grounds, again, but started raining. Any thoughts on the above?

Just an obvious question, but did you sand down the paint on the ring terminal and on the ground spot?

thats chevy for you! i was gunna say your volt meter might be bad but that doesnt seem to be the case

Legal TL scores145.6 on the dash sealed up in the low 40hz area with the port out145.5 on the dash sealed up @30hz with the port inless then 1k clamped on a 3.5k!

Why would you EVER WANT flex?
huh?...flex is what can make the lows lower and more air being pushed correct?

you either have a bad cell in the battery or your alternator is heating up and not putting out the right amount of voltage. there is a difference between voltage and amperage. if your alternator isn't putting out enough amperage for your car then the battery won't charge correctly.
