That it is drawing power from the battery its self. So the voltage is going to be different. Try upgrading the big 3 and maybe a bigger bat up front? That is what i did and it helped a lot! skittlesRgood Posted July 9, 2010 Report Share Posted July 9, 2010 the meter on the hu is probably wrong. to make sure, pull your hu out and measure the voltage with your dmm. if it still says 3v less on the dmm then run a dedicated power and ground to it.
