wL<3bass
I just looked and seen your running 2 600 ID amps, why are you gonna run CVRs off those great amps? TLEJ
Hah, well I originally bought 4 of the Dynamics for 400 dollars.. (Gotta love Craigslist..) .. And I sold 2 of them for $400.. And kept 2. I just happened to have 2 kickers laying around. Everyone that's seen the Dynamics always say's there so great?.. I don't see what makes them different from any other 600rms amp? Edited July 10, 2010 by TLEJ
skittlesRgood
Ah, yea I see a SMALL white dot on the ends of a set of terminals. Ok, and yea, I mean't to have the jumpers on there. But these amplifiers are 1200rms watts all together, and the subs are 1000rms. Is there no way to get just 1000rms out of the amps? you will have to run at 2ohm so you will get a total of 800w. you would need 2ohm coils to get 1ohm at the amp and 600w. The blue jump is from voicecoil #2, the other one is voicecoil #1... 2ohms is the lowest ohm load you can wire each woofer... so each amp will see a 2ohm load and each amp is rated at 400wrms @ 2ohm. The subs are rated at 1-500wrms each, you'll be giving each sub 400wrms... that wouldnt be 2ohm buddy. I don't see what makes them different from any other 600rms amp? have you opened one up? do you know the difference in components? ID is greatly known for its SQ and there is a difference. but the better question is, if you thought they were all the same why did you pay $400 for 600w??? TLEJ
I didn't think so either. And yea, I see that you can't get down to 1 ohm with a 4 ohm sub. So I guess my question is answered thennnnnnn. I hear Kicker is underated though? Plus my box is sealed.. How many watts do you think I could go over 500 before burning it And I paid $400 for FOUR of the amps , 4x600 watts. Haha you're right, I was making food while drawing that... that would be 8ohm... he needs to parallel the coils then to the amp.
