dmz2711
what up meade? i wanted to do something similar that you have done on your box. i see that you have the wires from the subs connected to bolts. then wire from the bolts to the amps(on the outside). What are those bolts made of? steel, aluminum, does the material matter that much??? also, how do you make them air tight so no air can leak from the inside out???? thanks bro Nobody makes me bleed my own blood, NOBODY!!! meade916
they are steel and when i measured them they had 0 ohms resistance so i figured they would work good....so far they have. Just make the holes barely big enough to fit the bolts, almost to where you need to force them in. Then use washers and bolt the bolt itself super tight, as tight as you can often sinking the washer flush into the wood leaving an inch or so of thread. With that extra thread you can put the ring terminal on and pop another nut over that and tighten it up. You can also seal it with whatever from the inside but it shouldnt leak really.
