Hey guys. Is there any way to put this to a stop? When i turn my volume up past 20 it just starts distorting. Any way to prevent this??

your gain's are probably up high, or bass boost.. and you're clipping the shit out of signal, or your box is wack... that's the majority of distortion problems on internet forums

Stock speakers off of headunit power? that would be the problem, adding a small 4ch amp for more clean power would help.

Start out boxy, shape as you move along.

i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?

everything treo listed, but also what are your crossover points at on all drivers? Raise crossover points on the speakers and lower the crossover points on the sub, see if that helps you.

My mids and highs. The front two door speakers are stock bose speakers. The back two are sony 6x9s. And theyre all runnning off hu power.
