memphisbasshead
Ok i was trying to decide on which sub i should get. I will be putting around 1200-1400 watts rms to the sub. If i get the 10 it will be in a 1.9 cubic ft box with 45 sq inches of port area tuned to 34 hz and if i get the 15 it will be in a 3.2 cubic ft box tuned to 34 hz with 82 sq in. of port area. memphisbasshead
get either one, they'll both be great but which one do you think will slap harder? (note the music i listen to is classic rock, hard rock, metal, and some rap.) Robert8252
Why the 2 different size choices? And the bigger one with more cone area will almost always be louder on the same power. But if you go with the 15 I would try to get a little more airspace for it but it would work fine. memphisBred
Never really associated "slapping" with classic rock, haha. The power you have should be really nice on the level 4 15. Maybe if you have plans on upgrading power go with the XL. Quote SMD Super Seller/Buyer Audison----Hertz----Rainbow
cagle
I recommend a L4 15 it will need 3 cubic ft.and 45" is fine on the port. More cone = more air movement = louder. I mainly play metal. If you have any questions you can call me at the shop.
