How to fire up my alpine setup?

So I finally got a sub and amp combo, but this is my 2nd one. The first one I got was almost done being installed and then we find that its missing a terminal on one of the voice coils!!!!! FFFF!

So I my currently selling that but bought a new cheap setup. I got a alpine type S 12 and an alpine MRV T707 amp from a pawn shop for 70$. Sub is basically new, amp is used but tested before I bought it. But now I'm curious on how to wire it up since its a dual 4 ohm voice coil.

The amp specs are:

70RMSx2, 240x1RMS @12V

Obviously im gonna bridge it. But what style do I wire this up in?

I mean I wanna stay at 4ohms since the amp is only stable bridged at 4ohms.

You can either get another type S, or wire the voice coils to 2 ohms and run it off of one channel. Don't bridge the amplifier. You'll be feeding it 120 watts, but unless you get another type S or another amplifier, that's all you can do. If the sub was dual 2, then you could bridge the amp.

Another option is to run one coil to each channel, but that's generally frowned upon since it can cause cancellation if the l/r channels aren't the same. What I'm wondering is maybe you use a Y cable from one channel on the preout to both channels on the amp.
