scratched my wheel gun itch today with a taurus judge.

also got my new carry blade today. 6" cold steel ti lite. (next to my kimber grand raptor and my laptop)

That judge is bad azz. doesn't it fire like 410 gauge & .45 cal shells and you can either fire buck or sulgs through it. Have you fired it yet. What kind of kick and does it have? Every time I see this thing I always think of the 4 barreled pistol called the cop 357. I have shot one of those and that thing was a beast Kicked like a 50 cal dessert eagle not really its only a derringer but it was a beast.

recoil isnt bad due to it being moderately heavy. not any heavier than my 1911's though. i got this gun for use when i go hunting. its alot easier to hit snakes with #4's then with .45 ball.

I also tried some number 4 shot at closer range, and it is with larger shot such as this that The Judge becomes better suited for solving social disputes of the most unfriendly kind. I see this as an ideal weapon to keep on the car seat to quickly resolve an attempted car-jacking. When a punk jerks the car door open, a face full of number four shot should rapidly dissuade the social misfit from wanting anything to do with your car, and should also render him unable to pass the eye exam for a driver’s license for the rest of his miserable life. If this seems cruel, so be it. If someone sneaks into a parking lot and hot-wires a car, that is one thing, but if he tries to forcibly take an occupied vehicle at a traffic light, he can learn to read Braille in prison as far as I’m concerned.

while its a nice weapon, and very accurate for what it is, i dont plan to use it for self defense. a 1911 is the only weapon i carry for defense, except for my knife and my ruger lcp in my pocket.

It was just a random paragraph out of the link. The guy in the link says the same thing that you did that its a good snake gun. I just thought It sounded funny. Anyways enjoy the pistol its a nice gun later.
