Subwoofer mounting

I got the "Cast Frame 1/4"-20 Speaker Mounting Kit" from Parts Express for my Level 4. I have the box built already (needs to be wrapped, but that can wait). I'm assuming what you're supposed to do with this is take the speaker, mark where the holes are, remove the speaker, drill a hole, drop the bolt through the hole, thread the t-nut onto the bolt, and tighten until the t-nut is fastened into the wood.

Is that the right way of doing it, or is there an easier/better way?

Edit for link.

You may be offended by the above. Don't take it personally, I'm just abrasive.

Well for anyone else that may need this information, don't look for how to mount subs. Search for how to install t-nuts...

If you tighten the bolt down make sure you have a large washer so you don't damage wood. But when i do this i usually use a C-Clamp and tighten it in. One thing I have found with T-Nuts is once in you don't wanna mess with too much or they will loose there bond with the wood

take baby steps, u cant do it all at once unless u have a roll of 100's big enough to choke a donkey
