BJD3 Posted July 15, 2010 Report Share Posted July 15, 2010 I got the "Cast Frame 1/4"-20 Speaker Mounting Kit" from Parts Express for my Level 4. I have the box built already (needs to be wrapped, but that can wait). I'm assuming what you're supposed to do with this is take the speaker, mark where the holes are, remove the speaker, drill a hole, drop the bolt through the hole, thread the t-nut onto the bolt, and tighten until the t-nut is fastened into the wood. Is that the right way of doing it, or is there an easier/better way? Edit for link. Anti Peel and Seal...lol You may be offended by the above. CheezyMane13 Posted July 15, 2010 Report Share Posted July 15, 2010 If you tighten the bolt down make sure you have a large washer so you don't damage wood. But when i do this i usually use a C-Clamp and tighten it in.
