I'll have to beat mine hard when I get it. I only drive like once or twice a week. If I don't they'll never get broken in. Then again, I'm only running like 1000 watts. It'll take it. Decaf Posted July 18, 2010 Report Share Posted July 18, 2010 some people are really stupid subs move to cool the motor... new subs have stiffer spiders than old subs stiffer spiders limit the excursion so when u have a new sub the power handling with music is lower until the spiders stretch out and allow for more excursion/cooling in spl applications sometimes brand new subs will gain you db's because they are stiffer Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
