WakingJudea Posted July 17, 2010 Report Posted July 17, 2010 I bought a pair of 1/0 ga wire reducers from stinger and both wont fit because the power and ground is so close together on my 1500 rockford. So if i can get one to fit, should it be for the ground or power. At the moment i have it hooked up by pulling some wire back and used heat shrink to cover the wire i pulled back and made the wire small enough to fit into the amp if that made any sense.

Reducers like those with semi circles don't have as much contact surface as the wires themselves so I wouldn't use it. n8ball2013 Posted July 17, 2010 Report Posted July 17, 2010 what i do with wiring is to buy double the ring connectors i need or just buy the boots. that way you can push them all the way inside the terminal and not have to worry about a strand of wiring coming out or what not and touching the ground because they are so close together.
