sundownz Posted August 31, 2010 Author Report Posted August 31, 2010 I just got the updated power supply transformers in -- as with many of our other new models we are trying to get the most at the 1 ohm load customers typically use rather than requiring them to drop amps down super low. Hopefully we can get them in and tested soon -- the build house expects a big different at 1 ohm with these transformers. sundownz Posted September 1, 2010 Author Report Posted September 1, 2010 Got a bit of 1 ohm testing done -- when we modified it I think something happened to it so we won't have any 0.5 testing yet until I get another sample in. Old 1500D produced 1540 watts after rise -- new 1500D produced 1750 watts after rise. Simply a max measurement. The results are just what I was looking for so far -- more power for the regular customer who runs at 1 ohm Quote - Jacob Fuller - Owner, Sundown Audio - Sundown Audio on FACEBOOK - Please DO NOT PM ME -- use my email address -- [email protected]
