Ok well i took my interior out to run all my cables. I put my passenger seat back in and it wont lock into place. it'll keep sliding back and forth depending if im speeding up or braking.. Why could this be happening i dont want to buy a new seat.

unbolt it, flip it over , work the lever, and see what looks to be wrong. Some seats have a wire connected to the handle. Sometimes they break.

God damn its hot today. My balls are stuck to my leg.

its a 2000 s10.. No wire and if i sit in the seat and push as hard as i can on the lever and hold it down it'll not move but once i lift up it moves
