skittlesRgood Posted July 22, 2010 Report Share Posted July 22, 2010 wwoooowwww, you used like 10x too many screws. probably split the wood all the way across. ive built boxes with no screws at all and they will NOT fall apart. and get rid of that cap. 1st off i believe the formula is 1 farad per 500w so its WAY too small. secondly caps are almost useless. sell it and buy a battery with your future electrical upgrades. not bashing you, i just give advice. genyk789 Posted July 22, 2010 Author Report Share Posted July 22, 2010 cap is only temporary till i get my new alternator and new battery/batteries. and they sound good... and i only used so many screws because i had tried to make a box but it fell apart so i put more screws in rather have to many than too few, especially since its in such a small place where i would have little access to do box repair. plus im only 18 and its the second box I've ever built.
