I have never had a car catch on fire on my "Watch" yet *knocks on wooden head... but the only time I do that is when there isnt a sufficent ground in the back with the amps. If you look at the burb all the amps are ground to the batteries back there, abd the batteries are ground to the frame. bassboobs Posted July 29, 2007 Report Share Posted July 29, 2007 i just asked a "profesanial" electrician and he said it was fine to do that if you realy want to waste wire all the back too the front of the car, but the car battery should usualy be factory mad to have a gond from it to the chassey....
