Funny smell? need an answer

So when ever i bump my system for a little while my system produces this smell, my friend said its my magnets. Any other ideas or advice for this?

x2 this 100%. if your woofers get hot then you are clipping them with the amplifiers, this is caused by incorrect settings on the headunit, mp3 player (if applicable), or the amplifier itself. warm amps could also mean clipping or low voltage, but less often would be a ventilation problem.

bet its clippen or to small of box for what the amp is tuned to. i had to reset my cross over and subsonic filter when it happened to me

lotta questions man.....how much power you givin them? and are you talkin full tilt or pretty low volume? it might be the song is shit too

try some old pc fans and try keepen the amp cool or check the voltage when ya bumpen to make sure its not going uneder 12volts. what gauge of wire you usen
